Souls Shot Portrait Project Volume 9: Where Love Begins, Ebony Bennett
Souls Shot is a traveling exhibition that pairs fine artists with the families and loved ones of those taken by gun violence. Through diverse artistic approaches, each artist thoughtfully captures the likeness, spirit, and memory of the beloved, transforming grief into powerful visual tributes that honor life and community.
Cowrie: Shells of Heritage
Cowrie: Shells of Heritage is a solo exhibition by Philly-based artist Ebony Bennett of E. Bennett Art, opening March 14–15 at Brewerytown Paperboy. This immersive showcase explores Black culture, ancestry, and resilience through portraiture and textured mixed-media works incorporating cowrie shells and natural elements. Each piece honors heritage while telling contemporary stories of identity, remembrance, and beauty. Guests are invited to experience art that bridges past and present, celebrating community, legacy, and creative expression in the heart of Brewerytown.
