Cowrie: Shells of Heritage is a two day art exhibition by Philly based artist Ebony Bennett, exploring ancestry, spirituality, and cultural memory through textured paintings adorned with cowrie shells. Rooted in African symbolism and Black storytelling, the exhibition invites viewers to reflect on heritage, legacy, and the enduring connection between past and present. The exhibition takes place March 14 and 15 at Brewerytown Paper Boy.
