PAINTING FOR THE CULTURE

PAINTING FOR THE CULTURE

A colorful, symmetrical painting of two women with vibrant blue hair decorated with floral and nature patterns, bold makeup, and jewelry, featuring a bright yellow background with black dotted lines.
A colorful portrait of a man with a closed-eye expression, wearing a red hat with rhinestones, a blue jacket adorned with stars and rhinestones, and a silver chain. The background is bright yellow, and there are sparkles around his face.

Hi, I’m Ebony Bennett, the artist and founder behind E. Bennett Art — a Philadelphia-based creative studio rooted in Black culture, storytelling, and community care.

As a visual artist, community collaborator, and educator, I use paint as a tool to honor heritage, spark healing, and connect people through meaningful experiences. Whether I’m creating portraits, leading paint workshops, or contributing to public art, my mission is simple:

To uplift voices, preserve Black stories, and make art that speaks to the soul.
